Welcome!
Welcome to Weather Link Hub! This site aims to serve as a central hub
for scientists, professionals, researchers, and hobbyists to find data and
models that pertain to their interests within the realm of Environmental
Science with a focus on weather and climate.
Prospective students may use this site to find
a list of universities that award degrees in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences
as well as organizations that hire experts who specialize in this
discipline. |
Main
Atmospheric & Oceanic Sites
Major organizations that deal with weather and climate include
government agencies, universities, educational sites, conferences, and businesses.
General Weather
Sites
Daily and weekly local weather forecasts for the general
population are disseminated by The Weather Channel, Weather Underground, CNN
Weather, AccuWeather, and more.
Weather Observation & Forecast
Tools
Includes satellite/radar graphics and animations, atmospheric
soundings, severe weather and winter weather forecasting, and tropical/hurricane
forecasting. Text model products and forecast discussions available.
Major Forecast
Centers
Includes the National Weather Service, Storm Prediction Center,
Hydrometeorological Prediction Center, the Tropical Prediction Center, and
more.
Model Sites
A list of links to all top-tier weather forecast models are
available, as well as links to model conglomerate sites. Conglomerate sites are
extremely useful as they enable comparisons between models and their forecasts.
Climate
Analysis Tools
Analysis tools at the Climate Prediction Center and Climate
Diagnostics Center are available for use, along with the oceanic sea surface
temperature (SST) conditions including the status of El Niño,
and many more sites.
Weather & Climate Reanalysis Data
Sites
Meteorological variables have been observed, recorded, and stored
into reanalysis or archived datasets. Reanalysis data and/or archived maps can be used for climatology and
anomaly analyses, as well as re-forecasts.
Weather
Research
A collection of my research work and
accomplishments. Includes my research interests, papers written, figures
shared, and some work done by other scientists.
